Geogrid

Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrids are manufactured from interlaced extruded PET (Polyester) or PP (Polypropylene) polymer bars.  Junctions between interlaced bars are welded to provide high strength for use in soil reinforcement.  The range includes tensile strengths from 20 to 200 kN/m as standard.

Geogrid

Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrids are superior soil reinforcement elements because they resist service tensile force loading with very low elongation making Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrids ideal for reinforcing soil masses retained in Deltalok® installations. This results in an immediate force connection and interlocking with the fill soil without primary deformation or wall movement. The monolithic flat polymer bars used to make Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrids are extremely robust and have excellent chemical resistance. Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrids are manufactured under the DIN ISO 9000 regime, ensuring its uniformity and high quality.

Engineering system solutions using Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrids can save natural mineral resources by reducing base course thickness for pavements, and steep slope construction minimizing the need for large volumes of stabilizing soil fill. As Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrids are easy to handle, large quantities can be installed quickly with minimal demand on labour resources and lower installation costs.

Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrids can be installed during virtually all weather conditions without heavy equipment or special construction techniques. Standard cutting tools can be used for on-site trimming, and for steep sided slopes, various geometrical shapes can be formed where needed to best fit the location.

The Hoofmark (UK) Ltd Geogrid products are extremely robust and easily installed, providing an economical alternative solution to traditional construction methods. These high-performance, low cost products provide simple, cost effective soil reinforcement, by strengthening naturally unstable soil and subsoil to withstand the loading conditions imposed by modern engineering demands.
