Can you get good grass growth?
Yes, plastic, being an insulator, helps retain moisture in the cells promoting good grass coverage.
How heavy is Truckpave?
Truckpave is very light for its size; it only weighs 12.5kg per panel well below the manual handling safety limits; concrete units easily exceed the 20kgs limit.
How quick is Truckpave to install?
Again due to its weight, it can be handled very easily and installed very quickly. Complete installation details are available.
Does Truckpave require a rootzone?
Because the cells are 100mm deep, the grass will find enough nutrients and water from within the cell depth. Good quality top soil or rootzone will promote good quality grass.
Has Truckpave been tested for HGV traffic?
Yes, by the TRL on behalf of the Highways Agency. It was also tested for its skid resistance and flexibility, passing all tests with flying colours.
Will Truckpave crack over time, like concrete?
No, it has been tested and proven over many years to be flexible under all weather conditions.
Has it been approved for Highway use?
